The Polycom PVX video conferencing software Version 8 (new version and model - not to be mistaken with old PVX software - this is the newer and improved version - no free upgrades from the old to the new model - you will have to buy the new version again if you have the old version - no upgrade pricing available) application works in conjunction with your PC and USB camera to extend the premier Polycom conferencing experience by providing sharp H.264 video compression showing natural motion at 30 frames per second and Polycom's unrivalled Siren 14 kHz audio. The application supports most standard Webcams, thereby eliminating the need for a separate video camera and reducing clutter in your workspace. And when used in conjunction with your laptop and portable USB camera, Polycom PVX provides the ultimate in portability.
