Polycom HDX 6000 Series
The Polycom HDX 6000 is a fully featured, low-cost, small group telepresence system that allows teams of people to easily connect over distance and enjoy high definition voice, video, and content sharing. Designed as a single monitor, single camera system and limited to point-to-point calls it nevertheless features Polycom’s Eagle Eye HD camera and Polycom’s 22khz stereo surround capabilities. A single HDMI cable connects it easily to any flat panel display.
Polycom HDX 7000 Series
The Polycom HDX 7000 Series offers mainstream telepresence capabilities to organizations seeking to quickly and easily enhance collaboration by linking dispersed team members. Although a single camera system it supports dual monitors and ships complete with Polycom’s HD camera, 22khz stereo audio and microphone pod. In addition you can connect additional input sources such as a DVD/VCR. Dedicated Recording outputs allow you to record a conference locally. Auxiliary audio inputs allow you to connect to an external audio mixer or existing room audio solution. A network switch port allows you to connect a computer and the VTC unit to a single network outlet. Standard definition multi-point capability can be added via an optional license key.
Polycom HDX 8000 Series
The Polycom HDX 8000 Series delivers advanced features and HD video, voice, and content sharing capabilities to conference rooms, classrooms, and meeting spaces across the enterprise. It features an analog phone port to easily add phone callers to a videoconference. An optional 4 site 720p HD multi-point bridge can be activated via a license key. The system is capable of supporting dual monitors as well as dual cameras. The system can be controlled via an AMX or Crestron control system due to its control port. DVD/VCR input and output is standard allowing you to play external video sources or to record a videoconference. Video Quality can be up to 1080p receive and 1080p with a Full HD camera.
Polycom HDX 9000 Series

Polycom’s Global Fulfillment Program allows us as a Polycom Certified Channel Partner to provide you with locally warranted and localized product that is shipped directly to most locations worldwide. This is not gray market Polycom products but are as good and as legitimate as if you bought them at the store next door. We are usually able to save you lots of money due to our deeper discounts and US Dollar pricing. Thus regardless whether you are in Europe/Middle East/Africa, Asia, Central or South America, China or Japan (those are Polycom's regions) we can provide you not only with Polycom hardware but also with local Polycom service and support and even local on-site installation.
Example:
Global Interactive Solutions, LLC worked with a global law firm to provide them with dozens of new Polycom HDX videoconferencing endpoints. The customer issues one purchase order but specified that we deliver the product to both their US domestic and locations all over the world. We handled the rest. Using Polycom’s Global Fulfillment program we placed the purchase order through our regular Polycom channels. Polycom took care of the rest and shipped the product directly to i.e. their offices in Frankfurt, Shanghai, Mexico City, London, Paris, Tokyo etc. Each office received a locally warranted product with the local language remote control and power cord backed by local technical support. The customer paid less than if he had purchased the products locally, has one vendor, and all products were on-site within 2 weeks of placing the order.

Polycom's End of Life (EOL) Support Policy For Hardware Products
Polycom follows industry standard practices regarding the support of its discontinued (EOL) hardware products. Specifically, Polycom typically offers support for a given product for a period of five (5) years after the Sales Discontinuation Date. (Defined below)
In order to notify our end customers and channel partners, Polycom provides a specific End of Service Life (Defined below) date for a given product through our web site at the time the Sales Discontinuation Date is announced. Such notifications will typically be posted on our web site ninety (90) days prior to the Sales Discontinuation Date.
Regardless of the End of Service Life date, Polycom will honor the terms of any applicable warranty and/or any previously sold maintenance agreements which were purchased prior to the End of Service Life Date.
Polycom's End of Life Support Policy For Software
Polycom also follows industry standard practices regarding the support of its software for discontinued (EOL) products. Consistent with such standards, Polycom’s policy is to support software for the most current version and one previous major version OR two years after the release – whichever comes first.
Changes to Polycom's End of Life Support Policy
Although every effort will be made to support EOL products in accordance with our End of Life Support Policy, Polycom reserves the right to change its policy as it deems appropriate. Polycom will announce any changes to the EOL Support Policy through the Polycom Website.
Explanation of Terms
Sales Discontinuation Date (Last Order Date): Any Polycom product being discontinued will be announced as EOL. On the Sales Discontinuation Date, discontinued products are no longer available for purchase from Polycom.
End of Service Life Date: This is the date a Polycom product will no longer be supported by Polycom Global Services. Note that Polycom may, at its discretion, stop offering Time and Materials support services prior to the End of Service Life Date.
